This is a great "anytime" gift to just let someone know you are thinking about them, and in this case a sibling living in another state who loves cats. Amazing Fish
是一種下頜具須，體側扁，腹部有棱突的古老淡水魚種群，屬於鯡形目，廣泛分佈在南美洲，澳洲和東南亞熱帶和亞熱帶地區。因為其體形長，有須，類似龍，所以在華人中是非常受歡迎的一種觀賞魚。龍魚性格凶猛，以小魚、青蛙、昆蟲為食，生活水溫要高，尤其繁殖期間，需保持27-28℃，親魚將卵含在口中孵化。龍魚大約包括以下幾種：
* 銀龍魚(Osteoglossum Bicirrhosum)，原產南美洲亞馬孫河流域，是體形最長，最普通的一種龍魚，全身銀白色，從上向下有五行鱗片。
* 黑龍魚(Osteoglossum Ferrerai)，和銀龍魚基本相似，也是產於南美洲，但幼魚是黑色，有白色條紋，當長大後，顏色逐漸脫落，變得和銀龍魚相似。

* 另外市場上還有一種「非洲龍魚」(Heterotis niloticus)是屬於異耳魚科的，以浮游生物為食，體形和龍魚類似，但無須，因此不太受歡迎。
